Old Slave House in Tennessee

Scott Walker January 12, 2014

Pictured here is an old slave house. You can only imagine the struggles that occurred at this home and on this property. Of course, that could be far from true as it has been written in some history books that certain slave owners treated their slaves like family. This house sits in a very rural area of Tennessee that is far from developed.

This old slave house looks nearly the same as it did when it was first built in the 1800's. The farmer who owns this log cabin today stated that he uses the house to store tools in. The only addition is a small window on the side (seen in the picture) and a new door on the right wall that is out of view in this photo.

This picture was taken with a Fuji X-100s.
