Chinatown street photography: It is a clash of cultures in Chinatown, which is located in Lower Manhattan. The population in the small area is estimated to be about 100,000 residents. It is actually the oldest ethnic Chinese population area outside of Asia.
I consider Chinatown to be a clash of cultures because Little Italy flows into sections of Chinatown or vice versa depending on who you ask and you have people from all over the world visiting the area daily. Included in those visits are native New Yorker's in search of fish, shrimp, cooking oils, counterfeit brands of purses, watches and clothing.
