As I started to talk to this man, he told me that he misses Johnny Cash. He pointed to a baby blue Cadillac in the parking lot next him and said, "That's mine. Johnny has a black one just like it." It was a convertible 1967 Caddy with a dog sitting in the back seat. He referred to Johnny Cash as if he were still alive. I said, "Isn't Mr. Cash dead?" He looked down and said, "Yes."
As our conversation continued, I realized he really does not like the surviving members of the Cash family. I never got an answer as to why, but he suggested life would be better if they were no longer here. I did not dig any deeper, but he is not a happy camper when it comes to the Cash bloodline. He is only a fan of the one and only Johnny Cash.
